For my final third year project I made two costumes from the designs I created for the book The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. The book Is set in an ahistorical Victorian society around 1873-1904 and based around the mysterious and magical Le Circus Des Reves.

This costume was for Poppet Murray. She is one of the youngest characters at the circus, and is a fun, energetic, and playful character.  

For this costume I constructed a tailored military jacket with embroidered stars, crinoline, skirt with layered tulle and ribbons, and casted alluminium badge. To complete the costume I also sourced white boots. gloves, hoop and aiguillettes.
